Drove to New London after
picking up Alice. Got
there about 4 PM.
Al + I played gin + the
“girls” played poker in
the evening.

Got ready for New
London packing etc.

Thursday, 10 September 1964

First choir rehearsal. The
Nielsons bowed out after
the rehearsal because “The
Choir was not friendly.”

Wednesday, 9 September 1964

Dad continued  to clean aluminum.

Went to Mets Game at the
stadium with Johnny, Bob G
+ Will. Home at 12.

Tuesday, 8 September 1964

Relaxed today. Dad cleaned
aluminum on back porch
windows.

Claire not feeling so good –
Minded kids until 3 –

Bill Papp stopped by with
picnic tickets. Mongan offered
his.

Dad to count + church council

Heard about the Queen Mary
having trouble with 40 foot waves
Hope Alma + Bill are ok.
