Dad had a luncheon in
Eastchester. He picked up
Al Behrens. Got
home in time for
supper and then to
church to count.

I cleaned living room.

Sunday, 20 December 1964

I didn’t go to church, Dad
did. He also went up to
church in the afternoon
to trim the tree and
ended by going caroling
with the kids.

Claire stopped by and
brought my tree.

there. Uncle Ernst
couldn’t go because of his
cold (which he claims
he hasn’t got)

at Freeport Hospital with Claire. Helen has a bleeding
ulcer. Must stay for a few
