Arrived at Haines Falls from
New London about 3 PM.
Had lunch at Charlie’s
in Caaman. Was very good.
Played Pinochle (men) Bridge
girls and what lousy
cards I had.
Antoinette told us about
the Zimms tragedy

Al + I played the
same course again and I
beat Al by 3 strokes.
I played a very good
game all around.

Al + I played golf at
the short 18 hole course.
Al beat me by only 3
strokes.
Pop-popĀ reported going to a church in Wantagh to hear “Lomax” speak.
My best guess is that it was Louis Lomax. Check his wikipedia entry. He seems like an interesting guy.

Drove to New London after
picking up Alice. Got
there about 4 PM.
Al + I played gin + the
“girls” played poker in

First choir rehearsal. The
Nielsons bowed out after
the rehearsal because “The
Choir was not friendly.”
